Anansi Health is a non-profit organization that aims to integrate community health workers into health delivery teams to care for the most vulnerable individuals living in the most vulnerable US communities.
Under Anansi Health, I worked as both a media and finance liasion, and project coordinator to help develop their projects and raise awarenes for their efforts.
In April 2014, I had the opportunity to work with the Delta Health Partners, a collaborative partnership between UAMS, Tri-County Rural Health Network, and Anansi to create an immersive video as a visual aid for potential funders and clients, demonstrating the needs of the communities as well as the work we hope to perform in the region.
The Delta Health Partnership aims to help build community-based health homes for the high-risk, Medicaid population in the Mississippi Delta Region of Arkansas and bring awareness to needs of the community.
